Our sewers, riveters, and leather craftsmen take pride in crafting each product. Our durable packs and products are made from the highest quality hardware and all-natural canvas and leather. We are still making our products in the same building they have been made for almost 100 years at 1610 W. Superior Street in Duluth, Minnesota. We still use the same manufacturing methods we did in the early 1900's. If you are ever in Duluth, stop by our factory for a tour. You won't understand what we mean by handcrafted until you see it. SEWING Each sewer specializes in their own products and sees their product from start to finish. Our sewers would never allow an assembly line because they take so much pride in what they do. That is why we now put labels on all of our products that say - Handcrafted by: with the sewer's initials or name on it. Some of our sewers have been with us for almost 20 years

RIVETING All heavy stress points in our products get hand pounded rivets. That's right - a craftsperson with a hammer still pounds the rivets into our products. You see, we offer a lifetime warranty, and we have to be sure that we make our packs to last.

LEATHER We get our leather in full hides; that way, our leather craftsmen and women can choose the best part of the hide for the pieces that go on our products. They are still using a knife and other hand tools to prepare the leather for going into our products.
