Being from northern Minnesota, Duluth Pack is fortunate to have humble friends and hardworking partners in some of the most beautiful places in the country. We take great pride in our work and strive to create relationships with others who feel the same. Among our good partners is Voyageur Canoe Outfitters<\/a><\/span> located at the end of Minnesota\u2019s Historic Gunflint Trail<\/a><\/span>. Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is a Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness outfitter and resort that is located on Saganaga Lake and the Seagull River. Also, known as BWCAW entry point #55, this is an entry into the wild and untouched lands of the Boundary Waters and Quetico Provincial Park.<\/p>\n

Working as an outdoor retailer ourselves, we have had the pleasure to explore beautiful places all around. However, may we be so bold as to say that Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is at the top of our list? With some of the nicest Minnesotans we have come to know, this hidden gem is a place we can\u2019t help but rave about. <\/p>\n

When we first pulled into Voyageur Canoe Outfitters, we were greeted by bright blue waters, fresh air, and lush green forests. The friendly crew there helped direct us to our cozy cabin spot that was complete with our own private dock and firepit. We immediately dropped our stuff and hopped in our canoes to dip our paddles in the crystal waters and enjoy the picturesque landscape before the sun slipped below the horizon.<\/p>\n

Whether it be fishing in the remote lakes of the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness or relaxing at the resort, Voyageur Canoe Outfitters has something for everyone. With opportunities to go swimming, cook hot meals over the fire, swing in the hammock<\/a><\/span> and enjoy lots of wildlife, the possibilities to create memories with your loved ones are endless. Not to mention, you could get lucky and even catch some fresh fish for dinner!<\/p>\n

What we love so much about Voyageur Canoe Outfitters is their passion for bringing people into the wilderness, regardless of their level of experience. You may have paddled all your life or you may have never stepped foot in a canoe– either way, their staff is there to assist you by helping you plan your route, equip you with quality gear, and make you feel confident about your voyage. <\/p>\n

In just three short days, the people there felt like family, prompting us to already begin planning a trip back. The Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness is a place that we hold dear to our hearts, and sharing it with people so they too can stand in awe at its beauty and continue on paddling traditions with family and friends is a true honor.
