20" Pack Basket
These attractive, handmade pack baskets are comfortable to carry and offer protection for fragile equipment. Designed for years of rugged service, the bottoms are reinforced and feature wood runners to elevate the load above wet ground or that water sloshing in your canoe. In addition, pack baskets are great for trips to the lake, visiting the farmers market, or storing miscellaneous objects around the house. Adjustable cotton web shoulder harness included. Sorry, no shipping available to PO boxes. Made in USA.

- Perfect for Hiking to Farmer's Market
My husband and I use these packs to walk to the Farmers Market in Chicago. We walk 4 miles round trip in the city with them to the Farmer's Market twice a week and they are PERFECT for transporting food. I also use them to go grocery shopping in the city in the winter (or any time I don't want to get the car out -- which is a lot -- we live in a congested area). They're great for urban living. I've given two as gifts and people are always asking us about them. (Posted on 8/17/2012)
- Great for Gathering Kindling Wood
I use basket to carry kindling from woodshed (or forest floor) to house for woodstove/fireplace. I have the 24" basket. Straps are too short for this tall basket. Hence, I cannot carry my basket on my back because of bulky winter coat. Kindling collection area is away from the house and I must wear heavy coat because it can be very cold in NH. Can you send me longer straps? I bought the basket many years ago and am tired of "making do" with other means of carrying kindling to pack basket on back porch. I'd like to "handle" the kindling once in the woods or woodshed with pack basket on my back. Thanks. Otherwise, it's a great, sturdy basket. My grandson loves it too!
