Lasts forever!

So in circa 1999 we, when I was 13ish, I went with my dad on this crazy canoe trip to the boundary Waters. Pristine wilderness camping, portaging, canoeing, and some mosquito bites. It was amazing and a trip I'll never forget, and plan to take my kids on one day. When we finished our 10 day journey he bought us these packs as a "souvenir". Now, 17 years later, mine is back in action after being found in a box! I use it instead of a purse and I LOVE it!! It's sun faded from its original black but stands up to my constant abuse with strength and charm. Review by Skankiewicz (Posted on 7/28/2016)

I bought a tangerine colored child's pack when my daughter was in pre-school. She used it daily to carry school stuff. She used it occasionally to carry overnight stuff for sleep-overs and camp-outs. Other than a few stains it is like new. My daughter is now 12 she still uses it daily, but has decided she wants a larger pack. When I asked her if she wanted to get rid of the old one she scowled at me and said I couldn't have it. Review by Don W (Posted on 1/12/2011)
Needs a carry handle

I own three Duluth products. I love the quality of Duluth's products, their customer care, and...the fact that they have NOT outsourced their manufacturing is very, very important to me.

All that said, however, this is one product that I can not recommend. When your child carries this bag by holding one of the shoulder straps (very common if you watch kids coming out of school), you'll find that the bag is inverted about 90 degrees (not upside down, but close). Duluth really should have realized this and designed it with a small carrying handle at the top.

GREAT!!!!

We bought this for our toddler son and it survived getting down poured on while camping. It's also great with the adjustable straps, so you can stuff enough to swim at the lake for the day or for the weekend. Review by Amy Lynn (Posted on 7/15/2010)
