Needs additions
I have worn this WBS for 4 years and love it. I would suggest an optional detachable button down or zippered hood-shoulder cover , similar to the Anorek, of the same heavy wool material, and some flaps over the diagonal pockets so snow does not accumulated in pockets during a snowstorm. Soft, Comfortable and Warm
This is a very soft, not heavy, warm shirt. Extremely well made and the elk buttons are a nice touch. I chose the kangaroo pocket but there's a bonus, there a pocket within a pocket - how wonderful. I walk 3 large dogs in all kinds of weather. It's great to have the separation of pockets for pick up bags, cell phone and lip protectant. My husband said it would be great fishing in December on the Chesapeake for Rock Fish, but it's way too nice. The blue is a dark navy blue. I chose size large as I want to layer underneath it and it makes a nice companion to my other Duluth Anorak. Review by TunaChic (Posted on 4/23/2015)
Awesome Shirt!
I just received this shirt today and put it on over my other clothing. It fits very well and is very comfortable. I really like the buttons - quite a novelty. I got the shirt with the kangaroo pocket and was pleasantly surprised to find it has a full divider pocket inside between the main body and the outside pocket. That's going to come in VERY handy. In fact, I'm thinking of sewing up one side of it to the inside of the main body (so stitching won't show on the outside) to make a large storage pocket with one entrance/exit and then sewing in some "D" rings to attach equipment like small flashlight, ferroseum rod and pocket knife. Might fashion a small internal pocket as well for items like ID and lighter. This is a wonderful, well constructed, WARM, functional, even pleasing to look at shirt. It's also not as scratchy as I expected it to be and actually a bit on the soft side.

It's not as cold here in Western Washington as it is on the East Coast or the Midwest, but lately has been at freezing. I've kept the heat in the house low to try and save on the heating bill. The energy I'm saving is about to pay for the cost of the shirt - which BTW is well worth its cost!

Since this doesn't have women's sizing, just for you ladies I wear a size 18-20 and got the XL. I was concerned the dimensions would fit funny, but they don't. It's not too baggy, loose or tight anywhere and definitely layers well.

Great cozy pullover!
This is a very well made and warm shirt, well worth the price. I love it! It does have a strong "wooley" smell when you first get it, I had to wash it twice before I could wear it. But this may not bother some people. I do wish it had zips on the pocket, I'll probably add them on at some point. Warm enough to work as a jacket, but cozy for wearing inside as well. Women; I wear a size 16 and got the large, it fits perfectly! Review by winterlover (Posted on 10/9/2012)
Best ever!
I got this shirt for Christmas as a gift and my mother ordered it large so i could use it as a comfy shirt but also as a jacket! I love how warm it feels and its like you never leave the comfort of your hudson bay blanket on snowy days! I got so many complements on the shirt and the construction is great, my shirt has the pocket and it is double lined, so you in a way have 2 pockets but double the warmth! Over all I would buy another on in a second, maybe in a smaller size. Review by Emily (Posted on 3/6/2012)
This shirt is awesome!
Since the weather turned cold, I wear this shirt constantly. It keeps me totally warm indoors without being too warm. When I need to run outside and let my dogs out, I can be comfortably warm outdoors with it on its own. On warmer days in the upper 20's, I can wear it as a coat if I'm going to be in and out of places. A worthwhile investment! Review by Kristine (Posted on 1/23/2011)
Bought 2 - 1 for me, 1 for my sweetie!
Warm! Cozy! GET THE POCKETS!!! Review by Patty (Posted on 9/16/2010)
Talk about warm!
I love this shirt! It is so warm. I combine it with the canvas anorak in the winter and stay nice and toasty. It great by itself too. The double pouch pocket is great! Women might want to remember that men generally have smaller hips so order a bit larger than you might think you would need. The only thing that would make this easier to wear more is if it opened all the way down so it doesn't need to be pulled over your head but that would make the fabulous double pouch pocket less useful.
