Canoe Thwart Bag Model I
- Product Review (submitted on May 5, 2010):
- This bag is a MUST have for anyone heading to the boundary waters. It keeps your map dry and right in front of you all the time. I use it to carry my five piece Shakespear Travel Mate 6'6" fishing pole along with a reel, a small tackle box, bug spray and sunscreen. I leave it right on the thwart for all the portages. It works great. If I see a spot that looks fishy I just pull out the pole and start casting. When I'm done, I break it down, stuff it back in the bag and move on. No more tangling fishing rods in the trees on the portage trails. I think I got the bag back in 1994 and it's been going strong and taking abuse from me and the horrid BWCA weather now for 15+ years. Excellent product.
