Duluth Pack has designed a new style of carrying a purse by pulling the excellent features of previous bags and combining them together to create the Portage Purse. The Portage Purse blends inspiration from the iconic Made in the USA Duluth Pack Shell Purse and Duluth Pack’s traditional canoe pack styles. In addition, this new bag style includes an updated design element – a traditional tumpline to eliminate any tension on the shoulders while adjusting from a crossbody style to the purse lying flat on the owner’s back. This update allows one to wear the Portage Purse across the top of their head or as a thick canvas crossbody strap providing multi-functional use to ensure optimal comfort while carrying maximum loads.

The Portage Purse was designed with comfort in mind with the addition of the tumpline strap to add multiple carry options for the user. With the durable Portage Purse, transportation of essentials has never been more efficient. The Portage Purse has been handcrafted in the classic Olive Drab and features the three iconic tags on the inside of each product – the authentic Duluth Pack tag, the American Made tag, and the Handcrafted By tag. Each craftsperson hand signs the bag they proudly handcrafted for the customer.
