Product Review

I recently received the Standard Laptop Backpack that I ordered in Olive Drab color. I chose Olive Drab to match several other Olive Drab Duluth Pack bags I have purchased over the years. Unfortunately the color resembles the Forrest Green color Duluth Pack no longer uses. When I contacted customer service I was told it would eventually fade to a more OD color. If this was true then why have I not noticed this in previous purchases over the last 17 years. I am a huge fan of Duluth Pack products and will keep and use this backpack. Do not rely on the OD color shown in the picture, not even close.

Product Review

I bought this backpack for my high school daughter. We purchased the leather version laptop pack which is very expensive ($300!) but thought would be worth investment if she could use throughout her high school years rather than replacing constantly. The size and shape of pack is great for carrying around the incredibly heavy load of books and the laptop sleeve is perfect for protection and ease. Unfortunately after less than two years the bottom of the pack is ripping apart and canvas is shredding. I was surprised and disappointed to learn that the "lifetime guarantee" does not cover this kind of product failure, rather only the hardware and seams. Unfortunately, no longer seems worth the investment.
