Outstanding Pack!

Upon recommendation based on my unique needs, I went with the Deluxe Waxed Khaki. Ive since had the opportunity to test it on a particularly long and rugged section of the Continental Divide Trail, as well as three weeks of vagabonding using only this bag in Southeast Asia. This bag exceeded all expectations in desert, alpine, and jungle conditions. If youre a serious outdoor enthusiast, I highly recommend a deluxe waxed version. The shoulder pads were surprisingly comfortable even after 20 miles with few stops. Ive never seen this before in a bag without a waist strap. I was also caught in a rain so heavy, I couldnt see my hand in front of me, but the contents of the bag reminded dry. (Still suggest a dry bag though). Since Ive had so many failures with hydration bladders in the backcountry through the years, I LOVE how this bag perfectly accommodates standard nalgene or the water bottles they sell abroad. This is my new “do everything” pack, and believe me, Ive tried almost every top brand through the course of many years.
